Red Cloth Hardcover with gilt titles, 284 pages with illustrations, 7 3/4" tall. Corner and edgewear. Corners bumped. Spine has sunfaded. Book askew Inscribed: "Presented to Naomi Myers by the Author". Inside pages clean but yellowed.Black and white illustrations. The author dedicates the book to his comrades of the Civil War, especially those of Company C, Seventh Illinois Cavalry, of which he was a member. The memoranda were written soon after his return from the army.
