New Material Copyright, 1960 Contains many color and b&w illustrations, plastic protective cover that is missing a section at the top of the spine and back cover, clean body and unmarked text. Spine slightly discolored. Original slipcase has fading, with general shelf and edge wear. Barely any shelf wear to book, the only flaw would be a dark spot on endpaper and front board.Reprint of the rare 1889 edition. Advertising, b/w and color illustrations and photos. Printed on pink and white paper. A full and authentic history of the dashing female highwayman, with copious extracts from her journal. When Steck Co. did reprint, R. H. Porter wrote the preface an indicated that may of the stories that were compiled could not be proved. Short accounts of Belle Starr are found in most of the books on Western desperadoes.
