Dust Jacket is poor and in pieces. Cover of book has some light cloth deterioration. Inside pages clean and binding is tight. The novel treats the years from 1876 to 1890. Enterprising Yankees drifted back to Chattanooga, drawn by the memory of overwhelming scenery, of natural and native beauty and charm that had shown through the mud and grime of war, and by the prospect of unlimited business opportunity.
